WOMEN, RELIGION, INDIA (a theatrical documentary by Enrico Bisi)
A documentary feature film about women, completely shot in India, basically is an Italian’s production thought for Europe’s and Indians TV Channels.
Topics born thinking about woman’s life condition in different cultures, under the pioneer direction of Enrico Bisi, the story reveal to the viewers the simply and deeply daily life of three young female surrounded by their environments made by religion duties, family implications, efforts to survive and beauty, everything inside the laws of the three of most important religions in the world: Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism.
Following the poetic stile and the accurate study of every single image like BARAKA has done like a masterpiece, LOVE JOURNEY followed two nuns daily life in Dharamsala, one Muslim woman in Delhi and a Hindu worker in Varanasi.
Thanks to the beautiful locations that granted special visual design, Varanasi, Dharamsala or the narrows and crowded street of Nizammudin’s Dargah offer for the whole photography such strong impact mastered directed with the high professional equipment and skills of Italian D.O.P. Simon Luca Chiotti.
This Journey is like a thread who will lead the viewers trough the usual daily actions, till the deeply meaning of life, especially in modern age where women are constantly under the pressure of social conflicts and change.
